Autumn Semester Exam

This semester I learned that if we do not recycle electronics it endangers the environment and pollutes the water with deadly toxins. Since the start of computers and the world wide web our technology has increased dramatically. We no long have to wait a long time for programs to download or pages to load. I learned in this class how to use Microsoft Powerpoint, it is helpful because instead of putting a lot of information in a text document I can use a slide show and it allows me to further explain what I’m trying to say.

Learning how to use BCC, and CC also allowed me to save time so i no long have to worry about giving away other peoples emails away, and putting in so many email address. The assignment we did this semester gave me a better insight on how much our technology is developing like electronic and environmental friendly car. Technology like water proof keyboards, hand held GPS systems, televisions 1 inch thick and 60 inch wide, camouflage outdoor wireless speakers.

Wednesday Review

1. Cd-Rom and DVD cd’s use lazer to copy memory.
2. Basic Computer parts Monitor, PC, Keyboard, and mouse.

4. We dont need microsoft word to make text document.
5. We can use google dox to make text document.
6. Blue Ray cd’s can now hold up to 400 or 4000 gb or memory.

15. It is not good to put anything other than words and number when making a document, because the computer might get confused and not know how to open the document.
16. When making documents it is good to make folders for your documents, example is something like if you making a papers english then make a folder for your english class.
17. When trying to find a document or program use its file path to find were it is.

19. When downloading items put them in your downloads folder or else later it would be hard to find them and delete them if needed to.
20. CC stand for carbon copy and is useful when sending a email to a big group of people.

1. You should always have a subject line so that the recipient knows what the email is about.

2. You shouldn’t leave the email addresses of all the people who sent you that email because if you do all the people you forward the message to is going to get all those other peoples email address.

3. You shouldn’t because it is pointless to reply to email that everyone has unless its a email from your boss of course, and plus it takes up a lot space.

4. You should use cc of you want to sent the email to someone who doesn’t need to respond so that that person knows whats is the situation.

5. You shouldn’t because then you expose all the emails that where blocked.

6. You shouldn’t always put you email address and name in the body of the email because that information is already sent when the email is sent so their is not need to do so.

7. You shouldn’t sent an email to everyone in your address book, because when you send the email it gives all the other email addresses to your senders.

8. You shouldn’t send and email because you think supernatural thing would happen because its stupid.

9. You shouldn’t send picture of pretty puppies because picture take up to much space and cause the server to lag.

10. You should protect peoples privacy by using bcc because you just should o.o

Five Assignments In One (4)

• The strangest theme park in Europe is some walk around 1984. people get to walk around the Soviet bunker. It is a very expensive walk. They are escorted around and are required to wear gas masks. I don’t see why you would want to pay so much for something so boring but it seems like a pointless trip to take for me.
• This theme park wont lead to nothing great in the future. It is a time waisting experience. Also not worth the amount of money they ask for. It all seems pointless to me.

• The Chevy Volt is being modified by adding in a small screen. It is a LCD screen at the top of the cars center stack and is integrated into the dash. The design team has also added “pill-shaped targets” that offer a tactile feel for the flat-surface buttons, which also make an auditory sound when activated. The screen before moved, but they made it to where it didn’t move.
• The screen uses navigational systems. It also can tell u how your car is doing. It shows a picture of your car and it will kind of inspect it and find if anything is wrong with it. This is very helpful and will help people in the future so you can stay safe in your car and get it fixed before your problem becomes a major incident and make u unsafe.

The Feijoa Fruits Are Ripe article talks about how a man who lives in Los Angeles, California owns a farm house that was built in 1930. He goes on to talk about the people who lived there before him liked fruits, because in his back yard he was different kinds of fruit trees like grapefruits, oranges, clementines, olives, figs, persimmons. and faijoas. All he is trying to say is that having growing fruits in your back yard kind of makes you enjoy life and gives you the chance to actually care about something. He enjoys, from my point of view taking care of his trees. So he wrote this blog to let other know that how he feels about growing fruits in his backyard.

I think that when i am able to own my house i would most likely enjoy growing things it might seem kind of girly but i really enjoy nature and i like watching things grow. Love the weather, i dont think that it would really have a great effect on my everyday life or even effect me at all. I think as a house owner you have the responsibility to make you house look nice.

A computer virus is a computer program that can copy itself and infect a computer without permission or knowledge of the user. The term “virus” is also commonly used, albeit erroneously, to refer to many different types of malware and adware programs. The original virus may modify the copies, or the copies may modify themselves, as occurs in a metamorphic virus. A virus can only spread from one computer to another when its host is taken to the uninfected computer, for instance by a user sending it over a network or the Internet, or by carrying it on a removable medium such as a floppy disk, CD, or USB drive. Meanwhile viruses can spread to other computers by infecting files on a network file system or a file system that is accessed by another computer. Viruses are sometimes confused with computer worms and Trojan horses. A worm can spread itself to other computers without needing to be transferred as part of a host, and a Trojan horse is a file that appears harmless. Worms and Trojans may cause harm to either a computer system’s hosted data, functional performance, or networking throughput, when executed. In general, a worm does not actually harm either the system’s hardware or software, while at least in theory, a Trojan’s payload may be capable of almost any type of harm if executed. Some can’t be seen when the program is not running, but as soon as the infected code is run, the Trojan horse kicks in. That is why it is so hard for people to find viruses and other malware themselves and why they have to use spyware programs and registry processors.

Viruses are costly because the bug your computer and mess up all your data and important programs that are needed to run your computer properly. In some cases your computer might not even be able to fixed which cause you to buy a new one while all the information is lost on your old computer. Now day they’re program or software to look out for viruses before they get into your computer.

Nissan’s EV forays leading to wireless recharging article explains that Nissan is working with Europe, Israel, and Japan to develop wireless chargers for car. This will include a ultracapacitors that Nissan will try to buy or look for. In the picture there is a Vice President of the Technology Development. The car only include sitting for 3 people and the windows are very long and weird looking.

I feel that this wireless recharging will lead to less oil dependency, and will actually help people who really dont have to get in the highways and drive to work. It will allows more cars to be in the road including the downtown areas. I would love to have one if these types of cars it would actually help me pocket and allow me to keep more money. It would help people who forget things easily like forgetting to plug there car in to recharge it. This wireless charger is a advantage economically and environmentally.

What has changed

This is what has changed the view of America all across the world it shows. That America is the real land of opportunity and equal treatment for all who come here. What has changed is the view mostly of the African American is this country we call United States of America. A little less than a century ago African Americans were slaves, segregated, beaten, and even killed because of the color of their skin. Now when we think African American we can see a person who is capable to become a president, instead of thinking slaves, stupid, not capable, gang related, and trouble maker. This show to all the people across world that it doesnt matter the color of skin, the culture in which you were raised that America is the land of god, liberty, and equal opportunities for those who take advantage of it.

Me personally i am not going to do anything different im to young to be worrying about the economy, war and politic. In a sense the coming of a new president doesnt really affect me in any way or change the way a live my life. But what i will do is work harder at my goal and do the best i can to become someone in this world. Take advantage of the opportunities that America give anyone who comes here and take the word try out of my mouth and use the word yes i can and i am going to do it. The coming of this new president actually motivates me to become someone important because due to the pick of yesturday i feel like no matter the color of my skin or the culture in which i was raised and i can be anyone i want to be in this country that is.
